This is the story all about how…you know the rest 😂 J/K! Zack & I got married in 2021 and now in 2023 we are welcoming a baby girl! God is so good! In this blog post, I wanted to share tips/resources that helped me build our baby registry. Feel free to comment any additional ones below 🙂
I didn’t realize how many things we’d need to prepare for baby until I started working on our registry, which took hours to create 😮💨. If you want to sow into our lives and this new beginning, you can do so by clicking HERE ☺️ That is the link to our registry connected to mainly Amazon, Target & Walmart. We are tremendously grateful for everyone’s generosity, seriously!

Now, the #1 tip I would share with expecting mamas to creating a baby registry is to look at 2-3 registries from other Mamas that recently gave birth. For example, I know a couple Moms who did a lot of research into the best products for their baby and decided to add some of the same things to mine. They already did the work so why do it again 🤷🏾♀️ If you don’t know anyone personally, you can use YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram for top videos related to the best products for a new baby!
I also had a couple moms take the initiative to share some tips on what brand of bottles to buy and I appreciate them so much for doing that.
I definitely recommend using the What To Expect & Babylist app to help you throughout your pregnancy journey. I also recommend mainly adding products that are linked to Amazon because of how quick & affordable the shipping process is. Most of my registry items are at Amazon, Walmart & Target which is so convenient too! You can use What to Expect to track your pregnancy & read blog posts/watch informative videos about your baby. There’s also a great community there where you can ask questions or read other people’s questions & answers. I’ve found Babylist to be an all-in-1 type of registry I can link multiple stores to.
If you are reading this and you may not be expecting but you know women who are, please be intentional about blessing them with gifts listed on their registry. Being in the shoes of an expecting Mom has really made me more aware of all it takes to prepare for a new baby, and it isn’t easy. Being a blessing in that way makes such a difference. Also, avoid purchasing newborn diapers and instead buy diapers size 3-4 which baby will be in the most.
Wherever you are in your motherhood journey, I pray God blesses you to be the best Mom you can be to your children & to be a great example of motherhood to your generation. I’m just now walking in my journey but I’m grateful that God has been preparing the way for Zack & I to be amazing parents. I’m also so grateful for the people he’s placed in our lives to help us along the way. It truly does take a village 💕
